The planning team at Ridge has over 25 years of experience and is a great place to work. And due to continuing success, we are now looking to grow our Planning Team even further with the recruitment of an ambitious Assistant Planner.
•Provide advice on planning and land use matters to a variety of clients including leading infrastructure providers and commercial developers
•Responsible for assisting in the preparation and submission of often complex planning applications and appeals
•Provide assistance with planning applications, site appraisals, planning strategies and development plan representations
•Offer advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of the planning process
Minimum requirements are:
•2.1 at degree level
•RTPI accredited town planning qualification. (A RICS accredited qualification (planning & development route) would also be acceptable). This will be at Master’s level
•A minimum of one years planning experience essential
You will be working on a number of large-scale complex projects so the ability to manage your own time, workload and problem solve is critical. You will have an inquisitive nature, analytical mind and high level of intellect - combining your excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
Raising awareness – A commitment to understanding and promoting the wider Ridge services and capabilities, and to sharing this knowledge with the contacts you deal with, internally and externally with Clients and contact. All staff are expected to maintain a Cross-Selling log throughout the year, for review as part of the annual PDR process.
