ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager. You will join our significantly (Over 65 Project Managers in 9 UK locations) experienced and talented Project Management Team based at our Birmingham, Solihull offices. The team is continuing to expand creating new opportunities for ambitious individuals to develop their careers
•Assisting with the day to day delivery of projects
•Building relationships with clients
•Development of project documentation and reporting
•Identifying and developing innovative solutions for clients
•Assist with leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams
Produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects
•Assist with conducting feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation, etc
•Monitor and report on contractor’s progress on site
•Support the team in developing new business opportunities
•Support the team managing existing client relationships
•Attend, chair and record meetings as appropriate
•Develop skills that will enable you to provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with the client
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
We are seeking a confident and aspirational degree qualified candidate who wants to develop leaderships skills to enable them to be an outstanding Project Manager of the future. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator who can articulate complicated issues between our clients and our highly skilled project teams. You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating commercial awareness and exhibiting the ability to get the job done!

Construction project management experience essential
•Experienced with Microsoft Office software and ideally Microsoft Project
•Degree in a construction related subject is desirable, but not essential. All degree backgrounds will be considered
•Experience in delivering presentations
•Experience in communicating with senior professionals
•Experience in report writing
